This Privacy Policy governs the use of the CANdela Connect mobile application (“the Application”) created by ledoka.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”). The Application operates as a controller for a Bluetooth-enabled hardware device.
1. Data Collection and Use
The Application is designed to protect your privacy. It does not require user accounts, collect login credentials, track your geographic location, or display advertisements.
However, to ensure your Bluetooth device operates correctly, the Application performs the following automated technical function:
• Firmware Updates (OTA): The Application periodically connects to our Over-the-Air (OTA) server to check for, download, and install firmware updates. When the Application contacts the server, the server automatically logs your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device’s serial number, and the precise time of the request.
2. Purpose of Data Processing
The IP address, device serial number, and timestamp data are processed strictly for technical and security reasons. This includes:
• Delivering the correct firmware file to your device.
• Ensuring the security and stability of our update servers.
• Troubleshooting connection or download issues.
• Preventing server abuse or unauthorized access.
We do not use this server log data to identify individual users, nor do we combine it with any other datasets.
3. Third-Party Services
The Application does not include any third-party software development kits (SDKs) for analytics, tracking, or advertising. Your data is not shared with, sold to, or processed by any third-party marketing companies.
4. Children’s Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal data data beyond standard automated server logs for app functionality, we do not intentionally target or retain information from children.
